Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

visenya

Well, she had to admit that she had been surprised by the girl's immediate response - like a sudden breeze, the girl had whirled around without hesitation. Her excitement was mirrored in Visenya as she charged forward, all the more interested in initiating this game now that she knew she had a willing participant. When she had landed, she had let out an energetic laughter, baring her teeth with a broad smile. She had missed? Hah! Hardly! She had definitely intended to simply instigate a game and yet, really, she likely had done so out of knowing that she would never land the first blow. After all, she hadn't before so why would it be different now? She preferred being the underdog and then making a sweeping victory. That was her plan, at least.

Her enjoyment had worked as a distraction though; as Visenya suddenly twirled, the other girl had charged forward. Her momentum had whirled by Visenya with a small gust, and rather then stop, the dark girl followed through with a playful nip, hoping to snag the last few hairs on Samus' tail as she dashed forward.

Nonetheless, she charged after her, gathering her feet beneath her as she adjusted to the new terrain. It was surprisingly different to the mountain; the snow slipped briefly beneath her paws, causing her to let out a dissatisfied growl as she struggled to regain footing. She had fallen behind and yet, she would not let herself fail! Instead, she sucked in all the wind she could and took off with fleeting speed - it made her lungs feel strange, and her legs felt weary from the sudden burst and yet, she seemed to fly. It felt unreal to finally be able to really sprint, and she could not help but cry out with excitement as she began to catch up to her playmate.

As they charged down the riverside, she called out to Samus through huffs and puffs, her voice alight with challenge - "Do you wanna' be the deer forever? She teased the girl with the sound of her teeth snapping together, then, before she continued - "Or do you want to stand and fight?" She felt so very queenly right then and there as she came to a pause, her head lowered and back end wiggling with playful jest.
