Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Tithe
To take what I'm owed.
Pay me my dues.

Tithe padded easily beside Sorcha, pleased beyond measure that she had agreed to be a host for a story time. They moved over the trails, through the freelands in the direction of the beach. Along the path Taika had trotted up to them, her maw sporting and excited grin. The energy of both these women made a genuine smile start to spread on Tithe’s face. It was so rare that the man felt so comfortable showing himself, letting his guard down to truly enjoy the company of the present time. The three of them travelled together, Taika letting up a call that echoed through the commonlands, inviting the loners and the gypsies to the gathering, like she had said she would.

Once they reached the border of Glorall Taika raced ahead, laughing giddily at the feeling of sand between her paws again. Tithe watched through his steely grey eyes as the smaller woman jumped up and down in the sand, sending it flying and shaking it off her pelt again. His attention shifted to follow Sorcha as the Bard picked out a choice spot for wolves of the packs to gather around. Snapping back to what was going on, Taika scampered to rejoin her companions, smug pleasure on her face.

The three of them stood at the crest of the dune. Taika’s tail rose and wagged merrily as she too lifted her voice to once again call the gypsies to this place that had invited them into their land. Eyes shining with a smile, Tithe added his lower tones to their songs.

Excited, Taika ended her song first and jumped into a play bow, offering a perfect target for any pups who would not be able to sit still long enough for a story and would like to play while listening. Grinning at both the women, Tithe took a seat beside them, watching everything closely, just in case something were to go ary.
