It wasn’t every day she had a wolf that dared to trespass within her lands. There was some benefit to having Tobias as an imprint. Many wolves within Moladion were aware of the infamous cannibal. Other wolves that craved the taste of flesh did not hold such recognition and such legendary status as the green-eyed ebony wolf she was bound to. With him at her side no outside creature dared to test their chances to cross into her home. Only one wolf dares to come to the borders to try and take the pack and yet she had been defeated twice now, and solidified to all within Moladion that she and Tobias were not to be crossed with. So, to find this small brown wolf cower before her, after committing such a terrible act, she was inclined to wait and see what she had to say. One dark ear twitched forward as she listened to the fearful girl prattle on and on about what had led her to cross into the fields in the first place.
Vaya had proved Tick Tock’s original assumption that the small wolf before her, which breathed in such a heavy and frightened manner, was the reason why the mountain lion roared. Dark eyes looked over the lithe frame of the smaller canine, taking note that although she was small and young, there was some potential of her becoming...something. Galileo had not been this flighty, but he was quite a speedy creature that had his benefits. That took time to find and Tick Tock was willing to put the time in this one before her...if given the opportunity. Dark eyes widen slightly as the young girl showed off her tail and Tick Tock took notice of the missing fur on the tip of the other’s tail, and whether Tick Tock had a sympathetic gaze or not simply could not be said. The girl survived and that was that. As soon as Vaya was finally done spewing her excuse the Monster remained still and silent for the moment, using this opportunity to fill the silence between with such an awkward pause. Vaya would not be her next meal, but, she could be used in such a way that Tick Tock could get her meal. Her jaw would part and her could lyrics would slide through, gruffly answering the girl’s unanswered question.
“It was a mountain lion you ran away from.”
Whether the young wolf knew what a mount ion lion was or not didn’t matter. Right now what mattered was if she could pass one of Tick Tock’s test to see if the child was worthy to stay within the fields. Boldly Tick Tock strode past the submissive creature, leaving deep prints within the snow behind her, heading straight towards an area she knew would be abundant with food. Vaya had spoken she had been hungry and she was hoping that the young girl would be motivated not only by food, but getting a chance of proving herself in a redemption sort of way. Turning her dial around her sapphire eyes narrowed upon the young wolf her voice ringing out once more in a stern manner, tilting her dial forward to signal that the young one was allowed to stop her groveling and actually follow her.
“It doesn’t help me if you are hungry...do you want some food?”
Best not to make her wait too long...it is rare of her to give anyone such a chance. It would be interesting to see...if she would actually take it.
