RAGNAROK
victim of his own creations
His chest rumbled the whole den seeming to reverberate at the low sounds. If passerbys ever came up here they very well may have thought a bear was in the cave and with Ragnarok being so large they wouldn’t be far off. He gathered his sizable frame up before his much smaller sun tail lashing about behind him as she continued to tease and prod at him. He jumped up to his paws then as she shouted over her shoulder running form the den with him hot on her heels growling and rumbling as he charged after her up the den entrance and into the open area in front of their den. He snorted and rumbled even as the dawn’s light fell over him. Eyes narrowing as he looked around for his ‘prey’ who ‘disturbed his sleep’ and quickly finding her taunting him a short distance away.
He reared up in displeasure, much like how a bear would. It was a very strange balancing act especially for one as tall as him it was not quite as easy as it would seem. His front paws slammed back down on the earth to her laugh jingling in the air to her display. It made him happy to hear her enjoying herself so, but none of this appeared on his face only soared within his very being know that she would feel it too with their strong soul connection. She danced around him and he watched her giving a little whip of his paw towards her before she went dancing away and wriggling her little rear in the air. It was somewhat tantalizing. He wanted to pounce on her and pin her to the ground yet he would have to catch his little fox-like sun first.
He spun soon as she ran up to him again their fur rustling together slightly before he kicked out his rear paws launching from behind her and charging after her. He was fast for his size, but it was only because of his long legs which led to longer strides. He was a great all-rounder though that left him wanting for speed and his size gave him a natural strength that few could match unless they were built to be nearly as large as him and with pure muscle to boot. He bounded after her, much faster than any bear ever could. Leaping in almost goat like gracefulness over the rocks as he followed behind.
They have played this game many times before. HE always lost. Her small form capable of meeting faster speeds than his own and agility so natural to her there was no way. He could occasionally keep pace with her, but the first turn or zigzag she took she would gain a bit of ground on him. It didn’t stop him from wanting his goal though. Her little bobbing behind just tantalizingly far and out of reach when he should have her pinned to the ground and biting at her ears and neck in playful fits. If he managed to catch her, which was usually on her terms, he wouldn’t let her go for the world. He could lay on her and little could she do but struggle beneath his size and weight. But there was the huge flaw and that was he had to catch her little skittery-butt first.
