Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

A SLEEPLESS malice as black as the oncoming wall of night
So it ever was. So will it always be. Such is the nature of evil.

Beauty is a thing that he hates and yet he is drawn to it. Sometimes he wonders if it is a damnable trait passed down by his father, that ebony male he has not seen in many many moons. In Paravana there is a beauty that is akin to fire and earth and ash. It could be the reason he is drawn to her for he is so fixated on life and death and she resembles both. Everything in between. The way she grins at him makes his own face seem to relax, not quite a smile, but an easing of tension that is always held there. It is more than any other would ever get from him for it is genuine. He likes the way that she does not question him, does not talk back, does not grow confused. She accepts and she follows his demands, even if the demand is for her to lead.

The Shade had picked her but Underidge hadn't disagreed when he had seen her. The way the rain and shadows had fragmented in her rainbow eyes, it had been enticing. Even now his fur rises as a shadow of his excitement arises from the memory. It was hard at times to share her to the Shade and to share teh Shade with her. He grew equally jealous of them both for she had said she felt him too and he felt as if part of him had split. It was unfair of him but Under did not care about the rules of fairness. He was selfish but at times, selfless, because she was his and he would not hesitate to do what was necessary to keep her.

She falls into a lope away from Glorall with him at her hip, occasionally moving up to her side and splitting off to curve around and meet her path further ahead. It was his way of sniffing out the area for those he did not want by. Often his silver eyes fastened to her, narrowing, wondering if she scented those faint scents of Diveen wolves. She belonged to him and the Shade and Diveen held nothing over her anymore - he had given her purpose. It was meant to be.

The fields appear and he rushes into the tall grass, splitting it in two with his body as he curves back to her again, brushing against her side. "Can you feel the life?" The Shade required death but all to afford better options for those alive. It meant their mission was going according to plan and his lips peel back in a grotesque version of a smirk as he splits off from her once more, aiming towards the beach and slowing to pad into the edge of the water. She will not leave him - of that he is certain - and this was just a test to prove it.
