Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

The tilt of his head indicated he was still slightly confused, and Horizon couldn’t blame Akuji. It was a strange predicament these two were in. It wasn’t really anything of a friendship or kinship. Rather, it was just a connection from long, long ago that neither of them had really intended to return to. The bloody herculean had long ago tried to forget that world and life, because even if some of his happiest memories had resided there he couldn’t bear to remember that he had left the one wolf that mattered most to him in that hell. His mother. He didn’t want to think of her because of what had probably occurred after he left. Farant knew that Horizon’s only family left to him was his mother and killing her would have destroyed Horizon. Everything he fought for was tied to the memories of his mother. To know she was dead would ruin him and tear him apart… And it was for that same reason Horizon had stayed away from love and avoided contact with others for the longest time. Farant’s little mind games had destroyed Horizon and for a long time after his escape he didn’t know who he was or why he was even attempting to save himself. Farant was a compulsive liar and so Akuji’s word did not trigger any memories. Farant had merely lied to him telling him that Akuji had been exiled along with his mate but he was never told why. But Horizon knew not to question, lest he dare to lose his tongue. It was just a never ending streaming of surprises to the two kalaks. Their stories never matched… the half-blood servant fed by Farant’s lies and the royal heir living a completely different life than he’d known.

Horizon had chosen to sit back down his fluffed plume curling lightly around his paws. His half-brother followed suit quietly, Father did always like his mind tricks. He used them to break mine... Horizon didn’t make a sound but his facial features had twisted into a look of understanding, a sick understanding of the hell that Farant had put Akuji through. Shae is my darling sister. Neither she nor Harries were exiled at all. Harries is given a rather free leash as he spreads his seeds and Farant comes and collects his pure blood offspring. They both are here, though Harries has been hiding his coward face after Farant apparently sent word through Shae that he was not providing nearly enough recruits for the army. When... When did you arrive here? Each of their names triggered his memory slightly, Shae being the most prominent. She had the bravest it seemed, when it came to dealing with their father. And it seemed, based on Akuji’s words that she still held a knack for making deals with the devil incarnate.

I do remember your sister now, though Harries still escapes me slightly… Horizon furrowed his brow trying to draw up memories of the third heir, but still nothing rose and so he moved on. I arrived not too long ago, before winter set in over Blossom Forest. I spent a long time roaming before I found this place. I lost my way many times and I would spend days waiting for herds to move so I could find another scent trail to follow… How did you end up here? I understand they exiled you, but did they bring you here purposely..? Horizon looked back to Akuji, his chocolate and ember optics focusing onto opposing pools. His hoarse voice still sitting just above a whisper, it would be days before his voice would recover from their yelling match.
