Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Alexander is rather a bit amused by this turn of events with his littlest brother-at-arms. He might have been the eldest, but his demeanor rarely lent the lad to be at all interested in those outside their little circle. He was so wrapped up in healing and reading the stars as Alexander’s astromancer that it was rare for anything to grip him like girls were supposed to start interesting them now.

Constantine was the romantic and he looks to Vladimir in such a “aw, isn’t that so darling” way that the red brother’s eyes darken in contrast - perhaps simply wishing to be contrary with such an emotion as this one that he could not feel or understand himself. It seemed to amuse him, at least, though, that another sibling had drawn the attention of a brother-at-arms comrade. Ankh and Constantine, now Liah and Herschel -- it was as Uncle Seamus told them it had happened in Nanrua. It was how they all knew they were related distantly (as uncles of a sort) to the children of Daenerys who called themselves The Young Dragons. Amusing enough, considering their descending from the line of Dragons through Fenrir - a great great great (or something) grandfather of theirs - who their mother had denied a home to when Alexander’s own mother was her highest ranked spy.

Herschel, in the meantime, looked eager enough to overshadow his golden brother now - offering little beads of pearls from the clams and oysters they had eaten. “Chel, they are beautiful. They're the most alluring things I've ever seen.” His success is seen in the way her eyes now look on him as they had on his brother before, making him lay on his belly and settle in where he could admire her as she admired his gift. “I want to keep them. Do you want one?” He looks as though she had offered him some kind of prize, like the heart or haunch of a prized kill, in that moment and he nodded eagerly as she invited him to take one up.

The one he takes is as dark as the black of her markings and reminds him of her undeniably. “So, you live on the mountains-- I heard that Daenerys did not rule there now, maybe… Is it true? What is the new Alpha like? Is it empty there now? I heard when Alphas are made to step down, their packs empty out.” He finds he is immensely curious, seeing as Taviora and Spirane once held such a close bond and alliance. Would he be able to see Liah if she went home? Would she want to see him?

“I doubt it Chel, many wolves are more bonded to the land than any one wolf...” Constantine proposes, “I hear the fool even offered Daenerys the chance to stay and she left anyway.” Vladimir seems to accuse the new Alpha of something he does not articulate.

“Would you all be quiet so we can hear her answers? Good grief.” He perks his ears then, clearly eager to know what she thought of the whole mess.
