Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

SAND! Once again Taika was able to feel it between her toes and it was divine! If it were not for everything else that would have come along with living in the beach world, she would have devoted herself to living here simply so she could play in the sand! Crackled eyes were wide with joy as she padded into the territory, sending up a friendly greeting of ‘hello’ to any who were listening. The gypsies had visited once, she hoped they were still welcome from seasons ago. She also would not have minded seeing Eden again. The Alpha had been kind to her and Tithe. In her song, she sent him a greeting as well. If anyone would know where the two wolves she was looking for would be in this land, it would have been him.

Assuming Morrigan was close on her heels (or left far behind in Taika’s excitement), the young woman breathed deep, trying to catch the scent of her missing sister. While she waited for anyone to answer her call, she could not resist shifting back and forth on the beaches. A pleasurable, silly, grin crept over her features. There was just something about… sand. Shaking her head, she tried to mask her obvious enjoyment. This was a serious matter. Her friend was missing, though through the thick smells of the ocean and the waves she could catch wisps of Coquette’s scent in the air. Her heart was filling with even more excitement and joy. If her soul sister was here, they would have finished their task. AND she, Morrigan, and Coquette could play in the sand. Her mind was overwhelmed at the thought of that much fun.
