Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

This had come to a stand still for the young wolfess. Though she was happy to have finally been able to check up on most of her siblings, she felt like it was time to start making a name for herself. With a happy nod, she left Viserys and Aurai in Diveen and began to wander, like her parents before her. Her goals for now were simple, find a home to live in. Within the next year, young Isolde planned to visit each pack land at least once to see how they worked. Already she had seen Diveen and Spirane. Now it was time to move towards the ocean pack, Glorall. There was no hurry so the girl was taking her journey slowly and as such had only made it to the fields. Not too far off was the lake with the fabled island in the center. The summer sun made it tempting to go for a swim, but the russet wolfess fought the urge and continued on.

As she moved along, Isolde allowed her mind to wander. For a moment she thought about the season and how much she liked the heat of the summer months. It brought beauty and life to the land and was a nice difference to the death and loneliness of winter. Then, she thought of her family, but only allowed the memories to be happy ones. It did not do well to dwell on the sorrow of the past and she refused to cry anymore. From now on, she was going to be strong and happy. Finally, she thought of that time in the crags, when she had met the wolf Fate deemed would hold the other half of her soul. At this thought, her paws stopped and the lone girl stood in the middle of the field, a gust of wind blowing the tall grass around her paws.

Things had been moving so fast and she hadn’t had a chance to talk with him or really get to know him. The thought that someone had actually imprinted on her made her heart flutter with ideas and day dreamings. Her parents had been imprinted and they had loved each other so much. So many wolves found their soulmate in their imprints and Isolde was holding on to the chance that she might have found the same. With a little girly giggle, the young wolf started moving again. She didn’t realize yet that there was a reason he had come to her mind so suddenly. That Fate was playing with her mind and soul. He was near, possibly even watching her walk along, lost in her mind as the hot sun continued its decent towards the west.
