Beauty was expressed in many fashions. It could be the outer layers of meticulously colored furs, or the striking gaze of chocolate pools, and even the soul that resided in her body. There was a subtle attractiveness to the girl, like a hidden treasure but she was not to be captured by any old pirate. Rather it would be a knight, a warrior and most importantly a gentleman. The bloody herculean had done everything in his power and will to make her comfortable. After Akuji’s outburst of rage he had invited her into Munashii for a tour and to cool off before she returned home. It was all he could do to try and make her feel at home or something of the sort. The terra was quiet seeing as Frio had disappeared and Mink had as well. Storm had been chased away at the meeting and the challenger had not returned, and Horizon could only hope that Ameira had come back triumphantly. He had no idea that the challenger, Artemis, had come back with Ameira and become a member of Munashii Gekko.
Well muscled limbs powered through the terra, early morning rays glinting over his bloody frame. He was a shadow slipping in and out of sight through limbs and undergrowth. Horizon had felt cooped all night and had left his den at the dawning of the dawn trying to free himself from the cage of his past. Akuji’s boiling rage had incited and awakened memories and nightmares of Farant. The brute was struggling to control his emotions and the meticulously built gate around his memories was beginning to crack open. Small burst and snippets of his years in servitude were slowly coming into the light… You will never again talk to them or mention yourself to them. They will forget you and you will forget them. You are nothing you little piece of shit… You are nothing to me, no matter the fact that half my blood runs through you. And then there was his mother, the grace, the angel that had been his only savior. She was the reason he had pushed on, survived and eventually escaped his fate. For that he would always be in her debt as most children were to their parents. At least that’s how it was under Farant… Horizon slid to a stop as a piercing howl ripped through the air.
Horizon pinpointed the call as it died away. They were south of him and he turned around to go back the way he had come. His blackened stilts threaded him through the darkened Terra. There were two figures at the border and as their scents washed over him, Horizon became slightly concerned. There was blood, bears and they were Bright Moon wolves. The kalak was glad that his stature had him towering over the pair. He wasn’t sure what their intentions were. His mismatched pools scanned the arena but no motions signaled that there was a threat of attack. Horizon slid out through the undergrowth, his crown held high but his tail hung neutral. His gazers glanced over them seeing the wounds across the male, but the little ess was unscathed as far as he could see. I am Horizon, Zeta of Munashii Gekko. Please state your titles and business with our pack. He voice was cordial and held a slight note of concern. Lady Ameira had not yet arrived but there was obviously an issue that needed immediate attention. He hadn’t wanted to leave strangers at the borders unattended, he hoped the Alphess would arrive soon.
