At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

If I risk it all

Since the time that Saw Tooth had fallen, the ice titan had found himself aimlessly wandering the land, looking for something. The only problem was, he wasn’t sure what he was looking for. Obviously, Rodan hadn’t found it yet, for if he had he would not feel the need to continue his lonely trek. Something deep within him kept pushing him to keep looking. The brute had considered the many packs that were still available, but none of them had felt right. Abendrot and Malignant were too dark; Cold Summers and Aurora were already very populated, etcetera. Not one had been suitable. The idea of becoming a loner was more and more present as time passed.

Rodan had always considered himself a rather social creature. Though he was of a quieter, colder nature, he was most at ease when he had a pack. Others he could rely on and trust. Others he could - who he wanted - to protect. Perhaps he’d been unfair to the other packs and blew them off before he’d tried to get to know any of the lupines in them. But Ro didn’t think so. He didn’t feel that he had been wrong to turn away from any of the current packs. There was more too it than just protecting his fellow man. There was a need… a need to be useful in someway. And that was something he didn’t feel he could accomplish in any of the current packs.

The icy warrior had just about come to terms with the fact that he might have to live as a loner when a solitary howl rang out from the direction of the lake. He swiveled one ear, raising a brow. It might be worth his while to check this one out. It couldn’t hurt, at any rate. Rodan picked up his pace as he turned towards the origin of the call, intrigued by the prospects.

As the ashen brute approached his location, he became aware that he was not the first to arrive. Three sets of paw prints followed a similar path to his and three scents with them. One of was most likely the caller, so the other two were curious, just as he was. He added his own set of indentations to the soft earth as he broke the tree line, catching sight of the small group. Two females, one with a brilliant russet coat and the other with a russet coat that appeared to be dusted in ash, and one male, mainly white in color, with a russet and black as well. He guessed the bright russet girl had been the one to call, as the other two were addressing her. He dipped his head respectfully to the other two, but spoke to the femme.

“I believe you called, miss.”
