My S
Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Her eyes of violet and nebulous gold watched as she moves to stand in the water. She watches the darker figure going after something in the grasses. She figured he was after the other piglets with the distracted mother, not wanting to get into the water. Phaedra knew she could kill the mother if she got to the point of needing to swim, and it seemed that the mother was too smart to fall into that kind of trap. Anyway, she had other piglets that were squealing for their lives. She could hear it ringing in her dark ears among the lapping of the water around her.

The dark wolf maneuvers himself so that he too jumps into the water with part of a meal within his mouth. Phaedra could feel the piglet in her own mouth no longer breathing. The life of the creature had drained away with her jaws and the water. She snorted after a moment, watching all the events unfold in front of her as a simple amusement. It was the game of life and death. They were wolves- killers, and it was as simple as that. She was about to turn her gaze and return to the bank and off into the unknown, when she noticed that he looked to her...and even was coming towards her.

She moved towards the bank anyway, shaking her fur out, though it did not do too much. She was soaking wet. She dropped her kill in the sand, before lowering herself as well as she began to rip into it with her strong jaws. She enjoyed the taste of the blood on her tongue, but her eyes darted up as the dark one got closer to her with piglet in jaws. She felt her fur rise a bit, teeth exposing in a simple reminder that the piglet whose blood covered her face was hers.

His positioning did not give her immediate feelings of threat, but she had to make sure. A low growl rumbled from her being as he got closer, but she was unsure what he was doing with the other piglet in his mouth. Her eyes stay locked on, her jaws biting into her piglet once more as he drops the piglet and nudges it towards her. It was...odd. All was very odd. He was of shadow. He was not like the True Angel and yet, he had a different pull. A different feeling. She did not know what it was, but she knew she would have to find out as he backed away to his own kill.

She eyed his offering, and after only a few moments does her massive form shoot up. She makes the few strides that it takes to get to the piglet. She lowers her wild dial as she sniffs the offering. She had given many offering to the True Angel, but never has anyone made an offering to her. Her eyes lift only to look at the dark one of shadow, knowing full well that there is some sort of Truth in this creature. He is not the True Angel...but something else. Her jaws snap onto the piglet, and she brings it back with her. She returns to her piglet, laying the other piglet next to it as she consumes her original kill. Her eyes never leave the dark one. She simply stares, feeling no discomfort in the action as she finishes her meal. She lifts her head, the second piglet pulled closer to her by her dark right paw. She is a majestic, foreboding looking creature despite her sunset appearance.

"Why have you brought this to me?" she demands, her voice resonating towards him. She seeks to understand, and probing into his mind is one of the many ways to have the Truth reveal itself.
