Together they set out at a run. Paws of chocolate and gray raced through the trails of Moladion. Time may not have been of the essence, but a sense of worry still gripped both wolves. Side by side the best friends raced through the valleys and woodlands.Breathing heavily they stopped at the border of Asteraia, staring over the vast plains with their very different eyes. Taika looked over the fields with her gold cracked brown eyes. She had delivered a young pup to these borders, had respected his wishes, and left. She had never promised to never return and check on the pup. They had even parted with the promise of meeting again one day. In contrast, Tithe looked over the rolling hills with something far different in his mind. He heard the rumors, knew the stories, and had met a number of the wolves from these lands. In the caves of the Grotto he had met a fighter and left on respectable terms. Now he stood here again, checking on a pup that had left the mountains who said he was the Son of Pan. Tithe did not know what would have caused the pup to travel to the plains, but if he was a child of the mountains, and a brother of Pandora, there was nothing that would stop him from ensuring his safety.
