The song rang through the common lands as and the young woman’s face lit up. Together they had moved from one place to another. With the changes of the world around them, many of the wandering paws had found homes in lands, and many had shifted in their ranks and their desires. It was uplifting to hear the calls of the wanderers beckoning their friends back to the fold, inviting lonely souls to join them once again on the pathways through their lives.

She groaned and heaved her pup laden body to her feet and trotted merrily in the direction she heard Liquid Amber and later Dragonfly sing. Grinning to herself, she could not help but pick up her pace, excitement to see her friends again. The fortune telling, the laughter, and the stories were welcome in their fold. Once she approached, her tail wiggled her body as she greeted the other two with happy yips and barks of greeting. One ear quirked to listen to their music before she added her own harmony.

With her voice she called out the names of others. Taika called to her mate, a free spirit at heart, her Imprint who had sought the gypsies and had her stumbling into him first. Her soul sister, the dream speaker. A warrior who had won a home but still yearned for adventure was voiced in her call. Her tones changed to invite any to their gathering. Any who were looking for a new place a be, a new world to see, and something new to experience in their lives.

She waited for the gypsies to gather and her mind shifted. There was something she needed to speak to the people about. A threat to the wanderers and unallied. A greater reason for them to stick together.
