News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

visenya

Of course she had known her mother's intentions when she had departed from Diveen; they had become more and more prevalent during their stay in the canyon pack, after all. Visenya had seen her train with their father and train with herself along the borders - it had become a fixation for her mother. Yet, Visenya understood. She had, after all, felt such a wild kind of anger and sadness when they had left from the mountains. How long ago had it been? Though only some year or so, it had felt like eternity for the girl. She had attempted to focus her attention elsewhere - learning to heal, learning to fight - yet nothing had served to focus her elsewhere. She had only ever been able to focus on the loss of her home and the dispersal of her family.

So, it had been difficult for her to remain in Diveen when her mother had taken leave. Her resolve had held for several hours but eventually, she too had wandered into the free lands beyond and towards the mountain. Rather than seek out her mother though, she had merely found herself a comfortable place among the forests and fields, enjoying the last reminder of spring before summer truly began its reign. It had not been a restful time though. Her mother's call had been issued from the mountain soon enough and so, she had tensely waited far from the outskirts of Spirane, her own heart beating against her chest in anticipation.

She had to wonder how long a fight might last. Minutes? Hours? Days? Whereas it might have only been several minutes before her mother had conquered, it felt like aeons to Visenya before her mother's howl of victory and summoning resonated from the mountain's peaks. It made her fur stand on end when she heard it, her ears cautiously sliding forward as if to truly check the tone in the call - it was her mother. She really had done it. She didn't need to linger on the fact long before she had taken off towards the slopes of the mountain, swift as ever and determined as she chased her mother's scent up the path. She smelt the blood but she had faith in her mother - she had survived these things countless times, after all.

However, she had been quick to duck aside and take a new route as the silvery form of Tithe lumbered down ahead of her; her eyes widened at disbelief, unable to recognize him entirely beneath the blood and his expression. It served to change her course for a moment, no longer ensuring that she would be the first to arrive. It mattered not, however, for she was just as glad to see her mother's form rise up in front of her; Visenya's teeth glistened in the light, a gladened smile upon her face as she paced into the clearing with her tail high and waving. She acknowledged the dark girl with a stout bow of her head, glancing towards her mother as she surveyed her wounds; she sighed in relief when she realized they could have been much worst. In fact, for all the blood, the true damage did not seem nearly as terrible. Still, Visenya briefly called out for a healer, her howl short and shrill before she settled a short distance from her mother's side. "I knew you could do it, mother," her voice had gained strength now, her eyes intense as they watched their slopes, "let it be known throughout Moladion that our family remains strong."
