Typically at night the Monster was torn. After working all day she wished to reside within her den and sleep, resting her mind and bones, until the sun returned. However, her love was a creature that preferred to roam at night rather than the day. So, she took the time to spend being with him underneath the moonlight. Of course they roamed through the fields while their own wolves slept, enjoying one another’s company, moving together as imprints would. At night there was peace for her and her companion. At night they could be together and for the moment the Monster’s guard could be down. She was rather comfortable and content when they would walk together, hunt together, move together, in such a fashion. For all that he wasn’t he was rather a good Alpha to help her with protecting the pack, his fearsome reputation matched with her own, was only one of the reasons why the fields remained one of the safest packs to thrive in.
Although they enjoyed one another’s company it would always come to an end at dawn’s first light. She would curl herself next to him and close her eyes, allowing herself just a few hours of sleep, until she was called once again to work. However, today, after she slipped away from the warmth of her cozy den, she moved along the fields quietly, noticing no one was awake. Pleased and thankful she managed to find herself a nice quiet piece of the fields, with hardly anything in sight. With a lazy yawn she lowered her tired frame to the ground, curling neatly, allowing herself this early little nap, promising herself she would wake up when the sun went higher. What she did not expect was that some little pup would be running about, that some little pup didn’t realize that what lurked within the fields was a very tired Alpha. Truly it would be a surprise for both of them, as the little puppy crashed into the slumbering, terrifying, Monster of Asteraia.
