And so, Moonfeather had come to her at just the right moment. Sila had been growing increasingly aware of a lack of healers in Moladion (a lack of named one's, at least) and so, she had been comforted knowing that another child sought to move along the same path. More than just her daughter though, Niviaq had been ecstatic to be given the opportunity to take on more apprentices. In her life, many had sought the knowledge but few had ever really committed. Moonfeather, though? Ah, she had been born with her grandmother's spirit, it seemed. Niviaq had been able to sense not only an eagerness within her but a tenderness, a gentleness, an awareness that ensured a prosperous future as a carer. Healing was, after all, more than simply ensuring a wolf did not scar.

When she had finally broken into view, Niviaq had been on her way back to her den from a brief hunt. Though she no longer had the speed and agility of her youth, she retained enough to ensure she could keep herself full on smaller prey. Despite her eagerness to help others, she had never quite felt right accepting the assistance of others if she saw it was a detriment to them. So, she had kept herself as sharp as possible even as she neared twenty-one years on the earth - she had others to teach! She hadn't the time to get weary or tired. Though, she was certainly thankful that she did not have to seek Moonfeather out, a fact that showed in her waving tail and wide, gentle grin as she paced towards the girl.
