It was time to see him.
She wasn’t going to go alone though. No. Her rounded sides made her slower, more clumsy and prone to be a target of some wolves who might have bad intentions. She hadn’t heard of too many cases, but Taika had been harmed when she had given birth out here on her own. They were still out here just something had subdued them for a time and Glorall was a pretty long walk from Taviora and while maybe she should have picked her brother, or maybe even one of the other warriors instead she chose to confide in her sister her worry for traveling alone to the water side pack. She hadn’t really expressed her worry for anything else though despite fretting over this for weeks. Zeltzin didn’t keep it a secret from the family who the father of her children were, but she hadn’t told others in the pack just yet. She wanted to see Eden though and let him know. Amoxtli thought that maybe she should wait until after, but Zeltzin had to know now what he thought about them. It didn’t feel right to not say anything until they were here.
She was still so unsure, she tried to align her thoughts but so much truly hinged on Eden. She didn’t know what to expect. She always thought she would have pups with only her mate but he had been gone for so long and Zeltzin wondered if he was he even her mate anymore. Her ears tilted back a bit but she still didn’t feel she had explain anything to him if he ever were to come back.
Glorall’s borders were close now. Zeltzin hadn’t talked a lot on their trip here, but she paused before they crossed the border and looked her elder sister in the eyes. ”Thanks again for coming, it means a lot to me Suomi. I know you can get excited but let me see what I can understand from him first.” She said then gave a little chuckle, ”Before trying to beat him up or something.” She was so happy to have her older sister back. Suomi was good company and Zeltzin felt much better here with her. With that said the russet female continued trotting on her white legs, not bothering so much to stop at the borders.
She was welcome here. That much had been said before. She went looking for him then rather than uproot his whole pack with her call for him. No need to make this a public affair. She followed her nose, allowing it to lead her way to the grey and white brute. She still had mixed feelings for him. And perhaps that too was what didn’t help her know what to do with everything. Part of her really liked him but the other was hesitant. Soon enough she figured her feelings one way or the other would be resolved, because he was in site now and seemed to expect her by now.
”Eden, I am sorry for the random visit.” She didn’t feel the need to state the obvious, he was a bright wolf and he was there, he knew what they had done and thus everything else. Her voice wasn’t as light as usual, perhaps a touch guarded and clearly a bit nervous too. Her mixed feelings were showing on her sleeve, she wasn’t being too good at hiding everything and she didn’t want to from him, not after well that. She felt an innate need to bond deeper with him, but perhaps that was wrong, perhaps that was why she was so scared. What if this wasn’t going to work out? What if this wasn’t right? She was still happy to have little lives in her but she was scared about how would he feel.
Hopefully the brute would surprise her.
