<I>A Lily No Longer</I> [ PACK MEETING ]

During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Ameira could not help but laugh. The lass had known as soon as she said it that it could be taken out of context. But she was glad that he went along with it, and her laughter mixed with his chuckling, and together they started to travel toward the meeting place. They did not speak much on the way, aside for chit chat and small talk, but she picked up her laughter again when he began to swear as he pulled prickers from his pelt. Ameira groomed her own quickly, but found no prickers - she had found that the trick was to groom before going through the pricker bush so that no snarls would pull on the thorns.

Patiently, she waited for him to call to the pack. Afterall, she was his co-leader. But as she thought about it, she realized that she would soon be taking another trip. Not immediately... But soon. She got caught up in her thoughts - there was talk of her ex-mate taking up a new mate... And she felt a strong obligation to warn the princess of her impending doom of a future as a punching bag. Ameira snapped to when she realized he was talking to her once more. 'Sorry for the wait, dear, have to look my best you know. As the saying goes, ladies first�' Ameira smiled softly at him and tilted back her nape, letting a croon flow from her lips, calling out to the pack, calling them together. After a few seconds, he joined her, and together, they sung a duet, calling a pack meeting. There was much to discuss - afterall, the pack had been far too quiet.

OOC - I may have to go on hiatus soon. Clinics are really busy and my next few rotations are going to be brutal :(
