It was the growl that alerted her the most of someone else that seemed interested in her which was a rarity in and of itself. Despite how the woman sounded as she spoke it mattered little her gaze growing dark at the idea of keeping up a conversation; that is until she mentioned him. “Thoth” Her words came out in a slight growl fairly akin to the purr of the large cats. Sekhmet had liked to hear his name and yet at the same time she wished for its nature to be hidden but she couldn’t dismiss the way it felt coming from her own tongue and yet she knew Thoth would come later. She had some sort of ability to find him when her mind drove her to him without distraction.
Sekhmet didn’t like the idea of having to reform a response but she would just for this moment at least. “No. Soon.” She hissed her words spoken harsher than most but it held no malice in these moments. “Who?” She was curious about who this woman was, did she live here like Thoth or did she come here to see someone like herself? She watched the woman with a hint of curiosity gazing into the scar she held on her face. Sekhmet wished to touch it and feel it against her tongue. She was intrigued ever so slightly but in the very same moments, she didn’t wish to speak. It gnawed at her and scratched to be silent and hear the silence of others. This is where Thoth, the Midnight one, and even mother flourished.
Sekhmet didn’t know the fem standing before her claimed the fields nor did she care so much. Rules and boundaries never lived in her mind, not even those for personal space and this pushed her to take a step forwards to the dark-coated she-wolf “feel” She hissed into a question perhaps she would never be eloquent as the others but at least she wouldn’t be stuck in trivial conversations that could be handled rather than discussed. Her paws pulled her ever so slightly closer she wanted to feel the sensation of a scared one's flesh. She remembered what the midnight one said about the weak that they are prey. She had play fighting before and she knew this is what saved the scared wolf before her and yet she needed to see how she worked. She would never allow herself fall prey to another.
