He wasn't sure how he felt about Iromar. In fact, he couldn't be sure. He had barely seen Jackdaw since the man had taken off after Aranck and, against his better judgement, he had began to worry for the old geezer. It was about time he became active in working out these...things, he supposed. He hadn't the best idea where to start though. Should he track Jackdaw down first? Or go straight to Aranck? Perhaps he'd be best off going to his mother and father and yet, it felt a little childish to go running straight to them when things got weird. Instead, he had settled on a different path, a path that he thought was quite clever. See, a wolf had become known in the free lands. She had been known as a gypsy; Israfel had heard of her having a gathering in Spirane and several small one's in the free lands. He had heard word that the woman had connections, had some kind of desire to utilize her neutrality to do...well, something. Good? Bad? Israfel hadn't heard that much. All he knew is that he should find her, at least. Then, he'd be able to get a message back to Spirane in any case so that he could leave word with his family while he sought out Jackdaw. Ah! So clever, you see! It would take less time that way. The description was vague though and he had quickly become a little frustrated as he paced between the fields and forest. Maybe Samia would have been good help. Actually, you know who would have been great? Jackdaw! But no, he had to run off somewhere. "White...white with green eyes," he repeated it to himself as if it'd suddenly make sense, squinting up at the sky looking for some answer. He'd been about to say it again with a sigh when he suddenly felt another knock into him. He jumped then. He leaped away with a startled bark, bewildered for a moment before he put her into focus - white with green eyes! Of course, that only made him more confused, his brows furrowed and mouth agape in a quiet uhhh. Surely luck couldn't be that good, right?! "Hey!" He called out, suddenly trying to straighten himself back up - hoping she'd forget about his little moment of panic - "I was hoping a wolf with white fur and green eyes would come running into me! He grinned, his tail waving as he flashed his best charming grin. "I don't suppose you have a name like... hm, Le Amber? Li...quid? Liquid Amber? One of those names!" A little foolish but hey, surely his oh-so flattering grin would make her forget about his own forgetfulness right? |
