Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Just Your Everyday Guardian Angel
Trying To Save The World

Enocra had been basically his second playground his entire life. While he didn’t know the lands beyond well, Enocra was close and where his family did a lot of hunting when they were outside the pack borders. He wouldn’t say he knew the land as well as he did Taviora, but it was still familar. Still his mind stormed, he wanted to do something to help, anything. But Fighting well… That wasn’t exactly the answer now was it? He needed to think of something that meant helping Zelda, not hindering her. He paused in his steps, dark brown ears falling against his head as his mismatched blue and green eyes fell to the ground. This wasn’t right. He would probably head back home soon enough, but he knew just going there and fighting was wrong. An eye for an eye was not how the world needed to work. Forgiveness was important and first and foremost, but… how did Teza forgive the actions Aranck had done? He couldn’t. There was nothing the brute could do to make Moteuh come back.

He was pulled out of his thoughts when a girl’s voice came through the woods. It seemed in his deep revelries he had been careless and didn’t notice her approach right away. He looked around spotting her quickly with her light colored pelt. He was surprised she had seen him, or had she seen him? Perhaps she had just heard him wandering around and called out. Regardless she came more into view and his tail waved lightly showing his friendliness. ”Hi.” He greeted simply, his nose twitching lightly quickly recognizing the scent of Glorall on her pelt from Eden. She was a part of his pack then. Eden visited a lot because of his Aunt’s children being his own as well. Though he did wonder how angry he would be once Zeltzin told him the news.

She asked if he knew how to get out of the forest and if they should find some place for the evening. ”Oh, um yeah. Taviora it’s not far away. It’s home. You need a place to stay?” He asked her his voice sounding uncertain. He preferred Nahuatl or Latin to english but he was getting better about not jumbling them up in a mess. He was about to say more when large steps sounded, causing him to turn and see shadows of something golden and large coming towards them. He had no idea what the creature was, it was massive! He wondered if he should run but suddenly the creature came at them facing them. A giant, golden colored, bear.

There were no words. Teza stared at it then looked at the similar aged girl. His eyes quickly turned back onto the bear as it charged at them then. Tezcacotl didn’t hold still, he moved slightly to the side, keeping himself from being bowled over by the large bellowing creature but then his heart and stomach dropped. The girl! With a fast lunge he grabbed at the bears back leg that was passing him trying to grip just above the heel and digging his fangs in. Of course a beast of such a size would drag him but Teza was no small boy, not anymore. Nearly full grown he stood about 40 inches tall himself but the beast was still giant, heavy, too much for him to take on his own, but he wouldn’t let it get her. He snarled doing his best to make as much noise and do as much as he could to help her but really she just needed to run as fast as she could to Taviora and get out of here.
