Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Zelda

It was meeting time.

Zelda moved into the free land, not wishing to make Orifel come all the way into the pack to talk to her about what he had learned. She didn’t know Orifel had a bit of a stowaway on his trip, that he had extra eyes on the trip. Not yet at least. After her meeting with the alpha she wanted more information, she didn’t know what she wanted out of him anymore. She was fairly certain that he wasn’t a wolf that could be saved and soon enough she would be recalling Orifel back. A little longer though, there was someone who still could use his help. Matini was fresh on her mind with that. With each passing day Zelda wondered if she should approach the girl again, ask her what she could do for her to right this wrong that had happened to both of them now.

The sun was high in the sky, she had heard and seen the effects of the night now. Another growing problem. Her cousin had been attacked by one of those large beasts, it was fortunate perhaps that they didn’t want to wander into the packs. It still was something to worry about, think about, but avoidable for the time being. Right now she needed to focus as best she could one one issue at a time. Figure out what she could do with Aranck, then work on the night monsters that were attacking others. Of course she wanted to help the loners, and be rid of the bear that lurked so close to her home, these woods, but Aranck right now was a more pressing matter.

He didn’t just attack in the night.

Her ears flicked at the sound of someone approaching her, but they were not the steps of a large male wolf, the scent was completely unfamiliar, but she supposed that was to be expected, but the noise level that was there didn’t sound normal, nor was the girl who approached. Either Orifel got really good at changing his appearance or this wasn’t him. She wasn’t particularly familiar with the girl but she knew all the members of her pack enough to recognize their faces when she saw them.

”Ceres?” Zelda was confused to say the least, but she knew where to meet, knew the scent of Iromar was sticking to her pelt. Had she gone with Orifel? It was the first she heard about it but she supposed it was impossible, if not irresponsible of the angel. She would have a talk with him later but for the moment, ”Are you here for Orifel?” She asked her tones clearly unsure, but she wasn’t about to turn away information.
