They were still quite new to this pack land and he was going to make the most of it if it was the last thing he did! His eyes popped open, instantly seeking the entrance of the den they'd made for themselves. The sun wasn't quite up yet but why should the fun wait? No, it needed to start now! Xerxes was the closest too and his favorite target by far so he found his paws kneading into the other pup's side, his dull claws dragging across the other male's ribs with particular care to ruffle his fur as much as possible while he did it. Xerxes did have the oddest fashion of trying to be perfect all the time so it just made him the perfect target. Move one hair out of place and it's instantly the end of the world. It was just too much fun. Tikal was on the other side of him and when Xerxes wasn't quick to open his eyes, Fen turned his attention on his sister, nudging his nose at her front leg fervently, trying to put his nose under the leg and flip it up a few times to get her attention and hopefully wake her up. Someone had to be up to join in with him! All three of them were cuddled up next to their mother Ankh so she was the next target when everyone else was too slow to rise. Climbing to his feet, Fen took a bounding leap at her nose, aiming to launch onto it and scramble aboard before nuzzling at her closed eyelids, trying to wake her in a more gentle fashion since she was his mother and he knew she still wasn't at 100 percent since their birth. He didn't see his father in the den at the moment so figured Viserys was out hunting for them or perhaps he was visiting with his brother, the alpha of Asteraia. An alpha! It was odd to think that they were all related to someone in royalty. Did that make him a prince by blood? Not that Fen thought himself anything special or anything. It was just cool to think about. Groaning when no one was quick to rise, he made his way to the entrance of the den, sitting in the opening for a moment to enjoy the warm breeze blowing through the open fields. It was so different here than in Diveen. The ravines and plateaus shielded them from most of the wind there but here, everything was open and free. It was like he could see the whole world from here! And he intended to explore every inch today! His tail went up as he bounded forward without a single glance back to see if anyone had decided to get up with him. The moon was still in the sky but it was on its way down and he could already see the first fingers of the sun's rays reaching up into the horizon. It wouldn't be long but he hoped he wouldn't be alone for the sunrise. He needed to make some new friends! Seeing something move, he suddenly skidded to a stop, stumbling over his awkward feet. Something suddenly threw its tiny head up, its super long ears twitching and its really tiny little nose constantly in motion. What was it? He had to find out! It moved its tail and it was short and fluffy. Maybe he could catch it! He didn't know what he would do with it if he did but he had to try! Crouching really low like he'd seen his father do before, Fen moved slowly toward the thing, hoping it wouldn't see him.
