Her rebellion almost felt not like her own. It was almost like the sickness had taken her over. It had made her into something foreign, something forgotten. She was a pup again, simply determined to get back home and see her mommy and daddy. It was like she was watching herself from the sky, unable to control her own dark paws.
She questions her own autonomy as she hears his command to stay down, with growls most threatening. It did not seem to phase her. Her mind was so hazed, so tormented by the disease that she could have daggers in her paws and not even react. She feels the heaviness of her breath. The pain of the pressure in her head. Her body was denying her. Everything felt wrong, and yet right, all at the same time. She knew the situation was not something easy, and no so black and white.
She hears his scream to stop, and only for a second does her face touched in gold marks turn to him. Rainbow eyes catch onto his silvered, and a labored breath escaped her maw. No words. Silence came from her like a room padded thick. Like an android, she continued to Diveen on wobbling weak legs. She stumbled on patches of grass. She does not get far- despite being closer, and closer. She will speak no more. She has nothing to say to him. Her drive is too strong, and her mind is watching from a far away place...or is that the Shade keeping a part of her away? |
