Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

It is always a good thing to not try and threaten another wolf while eating. I don't know though, I'm pretty sure I could take on this kid. He was young and so was I but I was a QUEEN. Which meant that I had to be stronger right? Not that I would. Fighting over food was a waste of energy and besides I wasn't inclined to fighting period unless it was play. If someone can challenging me though I would do what was necessary, although the idea made me shiver. I'm sure my mom fought back and look how that turned out? But her killer was a coward and with him dead that burden was easier to bear. My friends were loyal to me and my family. I could never doubt that - they would always protect us and I realized how often I took such a thing for granted. Still, this male doesn't get aggressive with me when I stride up and plant myself so unceremoniously in front of him, boasting and complimenting him in one go.

His eager quip makes me grin in a sly manner, already finding I liked him and his bold attitude. It made my own settle more naturally over my shoulders as I roll my eyes jokingly at him. Then I puff my chest out in pride at his words. "Yeah I suppose but mine is the largest." Well... it wasn't technically a lie because I hadn't actually measured or even thought about it. Now that Krypto mentioned it though... that would be my task for some wolf aspiring to ranks. I certainly didn't have the time or wherewithal to accomplish it. I giggle at him, amused by the idea. "I suppose you could always make your own one day." The idea had merit and it made me wonder if Asteraia was a true fit for my kingdom... maybe just... Aster... err... land?

Nah, Asteraia would be alright.

My ears perk up. "An adventurer?" I question eagerly. "Tell me some of your adventures then." It is a dare but I also really want to know about the outside world. My mother came from a place she considered death but were all lands like that? Dying and diseased? My eyes slant as I glance away only to peer at him from the side, you know, the better to look prideful. "It is what I've trained for since birth. I was born a Princess of Iromar and my mother and father were Empress and Emperor. But they are gone," I stumble now, my boastful tone falling flat. "Anyways," I say uncomfortably for a moment. "It's not so bad. No one really questions what I do."
