Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

Inanna smirked toothily at him. No, I have a pass. she teased. Truthfully, she would be steadfast at his side. She knew he could take care of himself. Though if at any time his defenses were down any who meant him harm would meet the wrath of her fangs.

Her humor flickered. Life had not been easy in the beginning. It had been all she knew and all she had come to accept. Had she missed her parents and her family when she had been shivering alone in the crags? Of course. But she had found a new family. Zeus had been a father, the wilds a home. All had come together to create who and what she was. Traumatizing was one word, she supposed, could have been used. Transformative was another one.

Ears were flicked back at him while he told his own story. It seemed similar to her own. Two peas, they seemed to be. Had they been together their adventures would have been grand! They could have taken the world by storm. Adventures would have been constant. They may have created greatness! She might never have been part of a rebellion. She may never have seen the storms. They might never have met their soul mates.

Within the shelter of her home she snatched up a bone to nibble on while he continued to speak and she studied him. As he spoke of his soul her gnawing stopped and her heart sank. Inanna’s two-toned eyes looked up and stared at him. Pale gaze of violet and blue were surprisingly soft, but unreadable as she studied him. Everything else? Her gaze dropped, figuring he was back for his family, his sister, and his pack.

Soft laughter came from her lips. Rufio is handsome, and he is charming. With his lopsided ear and rolling tongue it was impossible not to be charmed by the boy. Inanna would never deny it either. He would always be a part of her. But it was something different. He isn’t you. She returned to her bone, glancing up at him. What about Talien? Do you think you love her? Before she could stop herself, her question slipped out bluntly. Her body stiffened. Depending on his answerr she might be able to shake it off and save them both.
