Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Her favorite place here was the beach. It was what had drawn her here, and what now kept her here. She had no intention of seeking a pack, but when she had stumbled onto pack land while chasing the water she had decided to stick around. At least, for the time. Once the waters dearness wore on her and when the snow began to fall, it was likely she would move on. There was little else here to make her inclined to stay, extrinsic forces unconsidered.

Cawing birds catch her attention, a moment of struggle before cutting clean off. Her curiosity is piqued, and with a soft groan she rises from the sand. If someone was having lunch then she would hope they kind enough to offer her a bite. A new face like herself should be welcomed with open arms...

When the pup comes into view, a creature much tinier than herself, he seems to already be munching down his food. She finds herself annoyed, unreasonably so, but she's a hungry wolfess. "Oh little killer." She croons, voice soft and melodic. From his size she imagines he is less than a year old, and she glances around to make sure there were no possessive mothers around. It would do her no good to anger the ladies of the pack. At least, anger them more than she already would, with her natural tendency to make mens eyes stray...

"Did you kill the bird, too?" Judith asks him, stopping close to the picked at carcass, eyeing the meat that was left. The birds had taken flight the moment they'd sensed her presence, with annoyed cries and a flurry of feathers.
