Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

I am Diesel.
It seemed like eons since he had had the chance to be in control. Ever since that new girl, Kyra, showed up, the personalities had been in more chaos than ever. For years, it had just been the four of them and they had learned how to get along and get adapted to each other. But she was young, of all things, and so tempermental. It was like having a daughter and Diesel knew she wasn't his. And then there was Bandit. He had been taking more trips by himself, getting stronger in blocking them from being around when he was controlling the body, it would seem. Diesel didn't know how he did it but it couldn't be a good thing. Even Orb had taken a back seat lately, more apt to sit off by himself in a corner and just think instead of fight for control. Diesel was happy enough to win the fight this time when sleep overtook them but he didn't know how much longer he had. They were all very sleep deprived and with the longer nights of winter, it was going to be harder than ever to stay awake.
When a howl rang out, he pricked his ears. It was a gathering. He recalled Mags telling him about such a thing before, how there were lots of wolves there and she had been the odd one out and how scared she was. Diesel didn't have the same social awkwardness of her so maybe it would turn out to be a good experience for him. He was, after all, quite lonely this winter. Lifting his head a little higher, he barked out a reply and headed in that direction at a sure footed trot. When the others came into view, he paused just long enough to see everyone present before he trotted down the hill to get closer. The one who had called seemed new to the lands with the expectant way she held herself, but there was confidence there, like she had been there and done that kind of thing.
There was another female present who looked younger than him, confidence shining like a beacon in her own eyes as she measured up everyone present. She had a purpose to coming to this but he couldn't guess what it would be. And another male had made it here before him, already strutting around for everyone to see. Diesel smirked at his charming words, waiting to see how the females would respond before he dipped his head in greeting and fixed them all with a polite glance.
"HELLO, I'M DIESEL. I HEARD THE CALL SO I HOPE YOU DON'T MIND ME CRASHING."
It was only wishful thinking that Bandit wouldn't throw his own two cents in.
"OF COURSE, THEY MIND, YOU STUPID PUTA. I CAN SEE IT IN THEIR EYES. THEY HATE YOU ALREADY."
Diesel growled deep in his throat at the hateful latin accent that dared to come from his own mouth. Bandit never could let anything good come out of an encounter, especially when it came to Diesel. They had been rivals ever since they came into existence. Mags was already quivering as she looked at the other wolves.
"DIESEL, I-I'M SCARED. THERE'S NOT M-MANY NOW BUT MORE W-WILL COME. PLEASE B-BE C-C-CAREFUL."
Her soft stuttering voice made him smile softly, his protective instinct kicking in every time it came to scared little Mags. She was vulnerable and he believed in defending the helpless.
"I GOT THIS, MAGS. DON'T YOU WORRY."
He said, trying to reassure her. His tail came up to give a few wags as he took a seat and waited to see who would speak or arrive next. He didn't care that they could hear this whole conversation. It was just part of the territory when it came to them so they would either learn to ignore it or confront it. He was just curious to see who he would get to meet this time. Mags had spoken of a celebrity appearance last time, the young queen of a territory, or so she had heard. Maybe he would see another alpha or maybe not. Either way, there were bound to be enough wolves to keep his mind busy.
"YOU MEAN TO DROWN ME OUT? FAT CHANCE."
Diesel rolled his eyes with a heavy sigh, pretending for the moment that he didn't hear him even though it fell from his own lips. He tried to focus on the other wolves and any others who might be coming. Perhaps he would find a way to amerliorate this situation.
