Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

His words warmed her mind, creating a cloudy bliss. Dark lips continued to pull back in a smile as she replayed the words that he would not leave without her. Every day she was thrilled he had come back to Glorall and came to find her. These thoughts fogged her mind so much she did not completely realize where he was taking her until she found herself surrounded by water, the cold biting into the pads of her feet.

Eyes narrowed at the shallows questioningly. During her long scans of the horizon she had noticed the current here change and change again when the weather picked up. The sandbank was always changing and moving with the tides, yet still fairly solid and secure. She had never thought of walking out to it. Still, she followed him, step by step as he had instructed.

Sand, salt, and cold never bothered her. Having been the pup who had been found eating mushrooms in the mud and covered in dust from pilfered dens, she trudged along after her dark knight. Until she lifted her gaze to what he had prepared for her.

Breathless was an understatement for the stunning feeling she felt. First she looked back at him when he nudged her. Then back at the hammock and food he had gathered. Back to him and her tail slowly lifted to wag in growing excitement. It’s incredible! She covered his face with her tongue and trotted over to the food and coconuts he had gathered. All the things he had brought were ones she had found a challenge to catch and crack on her own. Safe for the crabs. Seeing them piled neatly on the palm leaves brought a wry smile to her lips. She sniffed everything over once and dashed back to him, licking his cheek again. Join me, Master Crab hunter! Her teeth nipped lightly at his shoulder and ruff, trying to pull him with her. Leaving him be, she curled around a pile of seafood. Eyes on him, she slowly snaked her tongue out of her mouth to lap up the coconut milk.

Shuffling over, she made room beside her so he could partake. What are your intentions, Thor? she asked teasingly, fairly sure she knew what brought them here. But she wanted to hear him say it.
