Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

Inanna respectfully lowered her gaze at the approach of her Alpha, not daring to meet his eyes but still studying him nonetheless. In her comings and goings she had seen him, in a sense been ruled by him, but still been fairly aloof as she learned about the world around her and trailed in Zeus’ path. Even since she had returned to the pack and declared herself a member, she lingered on the outskirts of Glorall, preferring to be near the sea amongst her many caches.

Her tendency to be seperate did not keep her from desire, however. With her growing maturity she craved more purpose than collecting bits and baubles. To use her knowledge, her power, and her beliefs for something greater. So now she turned to Eden. As many times as she had left home, she had felt as though she always could return. The embrace was not always loving nor warm, but neither was the wind she moved with. She had debated it within herself and contemplated on long, cold, nights. There was no purpose set forth she fit in, just as she did not seem to mesh perfectly in with her pack. To solve this, she had come to Eden. He wanted to test her knowledge, see who and what she was and what she could be to him.

I do not think we have officially met. she started, not knowing Eden had known so many relevant figures in her life. Her blood parents, her friend Abel, and…. Thor. But I want to contribute to Glorall. I just don’t know where my knowledge fits best. Her sigh was hardly disheartened, it had an air of confidence and self-understanding despite its lack of guidance. True she was still young, but she had spent all of the years of her youth gaining knowledge of the world around her. Hours to days here and there to watch as weather ripped the skies apart and bring it back together again. Plants and herbs that numbed, others that created worlds of waking dreams. Even if he did not bestow a rank or title on her now, she would never cease her studies nor tame her curiosity. One day she knew she would be something and live up to the legacy of Zeus, honoring his words and his parting wisdom.
