Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

JACKSON

He had been gone a long time, a necessary evil so to speak he had felt the need to ‘find’ himself. Whatever that meant he still wasn’t sure but as he had crossed the mountains and followed the winding Aplos river back down into the heart of Moladion he knew it had been the right thing to do. There was just something different now, after what he had faced he was both more and less himself than when he had left. Back then he had still been partly a pup, soft and malleable, but the wolf who returned had been hardened as the steel that striated his aquamarine eyes. He had filled out well, thick muscle now coating his broad chest and long legs, though his body now carried more than few scars marring the brilliant white of his coat.

Large paws marched steadily back into his bucolic homeland, and though his sea-green eyes flicked up to the mountain that had been his birth home he stayed the course and headed toward the fields below. Something was not quite right he thought in the darkness, a sense of darkness that was more than just the deep shadows cast by the moon overhead. It was as if the darkness itself was alive, he could feel its heavy breath on the back of his neck, see it moving just out of his line of sight, and hear it moving with monstrous weight though he could not pinpoint from where it was coming. He was used to the darkness, it had been a close relation of his as of late, but this was different. This felt alive somehow.

It reminded him of the hulking figures that lurked in his dreams, or nightmares more accurately, reminding him he could fight the darkness within but it is a battle he could never truly win. When he spies the form of another wolf not far away he makes toward what he hoped will be an ally, and is pleasantly surprised to find his old friend Ame in the snow, though a bit concerned that he was out wandering alone. “Ame,” he replied a bit tersely, his bright eyes still scanning around them as if he expected the very shadows themselves to come alive and try to swallow them whole. “What has been happening here? Something doesn’t feel…right.” The pair had formed a sort of brotherhood long ago, the ties of which Jax still felt tight around his soul. This was the brother of his imprint and for him the bond extended to Ame through Yuki. He was eager to know how his sister was doing, but this was not the time nor place.

we just die bloody.
