Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

It wasn't strange to her, having Myrria around. She had gotten used to her older sister's presence since birth, often finding her close to mom. She had tried using her as a playmate too but Myrria mostly wanted to stay around mom and didn't want to take her out exploring or roam too far away. Sometimes she seemed preoccupied though and Lucia wondered what she was thinking about but Myrria would never tell her. Adults and their secrets. She knew when dad wasn't close by, usually that meant Myrria was so she had no need to fear when she was playing in the crags. Dad had to go out and hunt often to keep mom fed and healthy so she could heal from the birthing and he would always try to bring back extra food for Myrria too. Still, it would be nice to have someone around her own age to play with some time. Lucia often wondered if there were other pups out there somewhere, maybe lonely and looking for someone to find treasure with just like she was. Mom and dad didn't think she was old enough to go too far from the den for now but some day she swore she would get out and see the rest of the world. It was such a small place to her right now, just rocks and caves and the occasional underground pond for her to play in.

She heard the yip and spun around lightly, pink and green eyes focusing on the black and copper pup as he came toward her. Immediately her tail started wagging and she pricked her ears, barking back at him in greeting. Another pup, just like her! She couldn't contain her excitement. She started hopping up and down, impatiently waiting for him to reach her. Why was he taking so long? Didn't he know how to jump from rock to rock? Since she had been running around here ever since she could walk, she'd become quite agile at jumping on the rocks, almost like a mountain goat. Sure, she stumbled and tripped every once in a while, thanks to her bigger puppy paws, but overall, she thought she was pretty graceful. When he started tumbling, she gasped and rushed to him, leaning down to nudge him with her nose.

"Hey, you okay?"

He pushed himself up after a minute and said hi and she beamed at him instantly.

"Hi! I'm Lucia!"

Then he said something and she had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. Her eyes widened and her brows shot up in the air. He was looking at Freud but she wasn't sure what he was saying at all. She tilted her head and scowled thoughtfully.

"Did you hit your head or something? What the heck did you just say?"

Her ears flicked back, already quite upset that her new friend was speaking gibberish and she couldn't understand him. That wouldn't do at all! He asked something now and again, she had no clue what he'd just said. Her lips quirked on one side and she raised one brow, shaking her head as she moved closer to him.

"What are you saying? Do you have a concussion? Why are you speaking funny? I know you can say hi!"

She was completely lost in how this wolf was speaking, but then she was distracted by the voice of none other than her big sister, Myrria. She wagged her tail and beamed up at her, always comfortable in her sister's presence.

"Mia!"

She squealed, since she couldn't wrap her tongue around the r's in her name quite yet. At the other female's question, she glanced at the boy then nodded her head vigorously, stepping closer to him. She had just found a friend her own age; there was no way she was going to let him go away any time soon. They had to play first!

"Of course, I know him, Mia! His name is.....pss hey, what's your name?"

She whispered the last part to the boy out of the corner of her lips, trying to be secretive but she probably wasn't very good at whispering yet. Her tail continued to wag, ears pricked, hoping Myrria wouldn't notice so she would think they're already friends and maybe she wouldn't make him leave. Lucia knew she was just trying to protect her but she wanted someone her own age to play with!

if i told you what i was
