Lazarus
Today, he was feeling pretty good. He had a lot of sun recently, and Aster ensured he was well fed. He felt his mood was perhaps getting better as of late. He still was...scared of a lot. A lot of things made him jump and he avoided a lot of the other pack members. He was getting better though...slowly. His weight was starting to come in. He was no longer malnourished...although his fur had yet to gain any shine quite yet. He was still torn up about his parents, and terrified that something awful was going to happen to him just as something happened to them.
But today...he was feeling a little bit brave. He wanted to explore the pack a little bit...and perhaps a bit away from the main fields. He found himself going south on this nice warm day. The sky was a bright blue, littered with gigantic fluffy white clouds. They seemed to engulf and take over the sky, and he could only stand and watch them with his mis-matched eyes as they slowly floated across. There was something oddly calming about them, despite their large size and mystery. He followed them until he reached the border with Diveen.
He suddenly stopped at the border, the geography starting to change. He felt the black, silver, and red hair on his back going on edge slightly. He...thinks that this is starting to not be Asteraia, but he was not for sure. He can start to see a plateau far in the distance, but closer trees were now in the way. He found himself getting...curious. It was quiet. Behind him was the clear grassy fields, and before him started trees and brush.
He pushed himself close to the grass for a moment and put his white tipped ears back. He looked around for a moment, feeling a pang of uncertainty within his chest. Yet he smells a bush ahead that is quite sweet. He lifts his head slowly, nose leading him as he steps over towards the bush. It was a pretty bush with bunched blooms of pink and purple. He simply could not resist their sweet smell and beautiful look. He gently touches one with the tip of his nose before zooming his head back, as a bee bursted from the bloom. He took a few steps back, not knowing what to make of the insects.
