Her smile could brighten his day for months. He wouldn't mind saying I love you to her as many times as she wanted to hear it. As he followed the route carefully back to the beach, he turned his head to see her glaring at the pearl thoughtfully. He slowed down, about to call out to her but then she scooped up the pearl in her mouth and followed him. As they reached the mainland, he called out for Samia, but his head snapped when he saw Inanna's tail flick. He scowled, watching her trot off. "Um, everything okay?" He watched her stop at some rocks, growling and glaring like she was very irritated about something. His head tilted, he walked over closer, watching her move the stones and dig in the sand until finally she placed the pearl carefully within the hole. His lips quirked, eyes glistening with amusement. She was so possessive over the pearl already, like it was her greatest treasure. He waited patiently while she covered it with sand and leaves then rubbed on the trees, all before turning back to him. He grinned when she saw him. "You're adorable, you know that?" He chuckled lightly. As she came back to his side, he lightly bumped her, moving his head to brush his nose against her cheek affectionately. He was sure Samia was probably out collecting herbs or something like usual so it shouldn't be long before she arrived. And there she was, racing across the sand toward them. One look and she gave a great big squeal before bolting right toward Inanna. Thor side stepped a little so he wouldn't get hit, watching Samia slide to a stop and reach out to hug Inanna. It was quite a sight. He tilted his head, grinning as his tail wagged. It seemed she caught on quick, already calling Inanna her new sister as she released her and came over to him, bumping him with her head. He chuckled and lightly licked her forehead. "Easy, sis. I had to work up the nerve first. And the courting magic." He gave Inanna a sly wink and smirked. He couldn't get enough of watching them bond, his eyes lighting up like fireworks as Samia complimented Inanna. He rolled his eyes when Samia said that he wasn't talking. "Well I didn't want to get my hopes up too soon. She's not an easy egg to crack." He smiled at Inanna, his expression full of love and adoration in this moment. He meant it in all the best ways. Inanna was a mystery in many ways, not one to speak her thoughts. She was independent and strong and she didn't need him, that's for sure.
