Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Pascal

My hourglass is cracked – And it’s my life

Spilling out, blowing over like sand

Her mother had taken the time to clean her and pamper her extra well before this meeting. Pascal was excited as she could be for such a gathering. She didn’t know a lot of her family outside of her brothers and of course her uncle Meryl and Mother. She had no idea that she was more like her uncle than the rest of her family, though Pascal was just in the dark of his blood relation as she was her own to the family she was part of. She had been rather close to her mother. She was a bit anxious about meeting more of her family, though Pascal was over all a little more shy than her outgoing siblings, it was more she wanted to make sure she didn’t make anyone upset than she was actually introverted. She enjoyed being around others, it was exciting and could be fun it was just hard because she never wanted to displease anyone she was around. Well… except her brothers if it meant making her mom mad… That was a different story though.

Thus far the chaos she didn’t think was really starting. She sat back between her parents, watching as her very energetic brother, and apparently two cousins were going to race, that was before her uncle came forward. Her eyes went up to him as he greeted them and her little tail waved. He was generally calmer, impassive, if she had to guess she was more like him, even size wise he was quite a lot smaller than her mother and father so somewhere she knew she was like him. Though there was a very small cousin too.

It just further justified her beliefs that she was perfectly well fit in. There was no need for her to ever think otherwise of who she was or where she belonged though she had to say she wished she had been gifted with the beautiful ‘star’ markings that Rurik, these cousins, and Andriel had been given. Though she guessed Paschar and Shadow didn’t get any either. But even her uncle Meryl had the star marks.

She wished she could have them but she was currently happy just watching as surely the chaos would grow the more family that showed up and would join in on the fun. She didn’t know that her family was fairly large even with the members who had passed on or wandered away and she was pretty excited about meeting a lot of them.

Just like the feelings I have grown to love…

How quickly they can all fade away
