Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Every so often he would come across a place that made him think of a dream he once had. Where oceans were quiet places with sunlight and grassy meadows were crammed with fat elk, ripe for a spring's hunt. Of course, lets not kid ourselves here - Juris never hunted! Bugs, snakes, rats, whatever the buzzards were picking at, was easy enough for a meal. Why spend any more energy than what you needed? The locals called this place Moladion, but it was just another name for a stretch of trees water and rocks that look just like the rest of them. Easy for a rogue to say, Juris spent most of his time meandering through life, stealing and eating everything in sight. Its sometimes a shock to him that he wasn't some fat glutton rolling through the valley after yet another meal. He was resourceful enough not to starve, however, no matter how many times you ask him, he always says he is starving. Even after a meal.
Yes, this place was Moladion, and Juris paid no homeage to the thought of its history, not even a slight interest in what sacred ballads this land once sang. It was all an ugly fucking song to him anyways.Everyone loved their own home, he was just here to take as he pleased and move right along.

So he thought.

Moving right along was never a problem. But there was already a feeling arising within him, as if he knew something were to happen here - he just didn't know what. The grass was soft here in this valley, and the creek water was cold. He wanted to stay, no matter how much the ominous voice in the pit of his rib cage screamed at him, keep going or you will never get out of here. He refused to heed the warning, summer here seemed a little too tempting, there were plenty of grasshoppers in the tall grass, and even more rabbits in the field adjacent. Being hungry all the time was a god damn curse. Some say he was a little crazy because of starving so much in the past, it does things to your mind, but those who see him now know that starvation was just something in his mind. There was no way he could be hungry with how he gourges himself. But he tried again not to think about food, the obsession was becoming unhealthy.

There were wolves everywhere here. Their scent filled the lands. There were hunting trails leading into maniacle forests and decrepit bones of glorious creatures fallen by pack hunts. The signs were too obvious, it was pretty much a community ran by his own kind. This was a great place to eat, observer and take.

He walked down to the creek and smelled the water. His tongue lolled out for a taste. It was sweet and tasted like the high mountains. But he was less worried about the flavor when he could feel the warm presence of another wolf nearby. Naturally the fur on the back of his neck hackled like needles, aware but not aggressive of the other being. Juris was no longer alone.
