Malignant Felicity is a paradisaical abode to the faithful remains of a mighty pack. Once ruled by the magnificent wolf Genocide, now the wolves of this pack follow the laws of the Alpha Lance, son of Sorna, Beta and Genocide's best friend...

The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

A Promise Was Made

Drizzt didn't belong here, he didn't really belong anywhere. His mother's choice of packs had originally brought him here, a 'plus one' who was considered loyal to the pack because his mother was. He had not been asked to submit, because he was property, and thus while he had grown up in the dark shadows of Malignant Felicity and felt comfortable there, it had not been his home. Next he had left, seeking to find his father in Moondown Shadows but had found nothing but echoes and empty dens - and so once more he had found himself an urchin, a young orphan. When he and Motionless had first become friends, she had vowed to help him... and eventually she had. She had found out where his father was and had accompanied him to Spring Grounds, to where Aindreas had pledge his loyalty, his love, and his heart. But Drizzt had only been there because of his father. When Stormy Horizion had left and Pierce had succeeded her, Drizzt had felt lost. His father had been in a deep depression and Drizzt had had to care for him... and Pierce had done nothing to comfort Drizzt or to attempt to get to know the young varg. Months had past and had led to lengthening of his limbs, the addition of mass to his muscles, and while he had grown into his paws he was still scraggly and scrawny, awkward in appearance. And when Pierce had left too... Drizzt had hardly noticed. The lands had died long before Pierce had left and Drizzt had only stayed because he did not know where else to go. He had not wanted to go with his father to Aurora Borealis for the - perhaps adolescent and naive - reason that his father had not asked him to come. And so now the bastard son of the new Alpha of Aurora Borealis was once more in Malignant Felicity.

Motionless had always made him feel welcome, and he had already been well acquainted with the lands and so it had seemed a logical choice - once in which he got to be with his friend and feel comfortable. And yet he was in limbo, he was in a gray zone - he was only a guest here... wasn't he? Never had Motionless asked him to submit to her or asked anything of him. But she had left for a spell, and when she had come back, everything had been ruined; the pack meeting had happened. Drizzt had been mortified by her trophy corpse, the dead body of a wolf she had slain. He was an innocent and a pacifist, but was not an idiot. He knew that there were times of war or even just individual times when such extreme measures were necessary. But then she had... she had shown him off as if she was proud. Even if she wanted to share the information why bring him with her? At the same time he had felt rage - an emotion new to him - that had hated the fact that she had ever been subjected to such treatment. He had suspected something similar to that of course because of the state that he had originally found her in, but to hear the whole tale... but the rage had warred against his sense of horror and he had ran from her.

The snowy teenager had not seen her since, and had started thinking about leaving the pack. The only problem was that he did not know where else to go. To his father? To one of the open packs? And so without a definite answer he had chosen to stay... but now he heard the vocals of someone he had not seen in a long while - his Aunt. His white pelt quivered with each step as he trotted through the jungle, the stifling pressure of the air pressing against him but he did not mind it at all, he was used to it. As he moved through the trees, his lavendars darted through them, looking, searching for any of the pack members. Part of his mind wondered if they would try to chase him out because of how he had reacted to Motionless' statement. If they would kick him out to defend her. But there were no forms. No attackers. No, the only one he saw was Adara as she waited patiently for him at the edge of the terra. Drizzt smiled at her and wagged his plume happily - he had liked his aunt from the few times he had met her. "Hi Auntie, what are you doing here?" He paused and cocked his head, realizing there was something different about her... and that was when two things happened. The first was that he noticed her eye color. The second was that pain took over his body...

OOC - I figure he will transform in his next post :)
