I shouldn't be here. I knew that...But I couldn't resist. I crept along the shadows, my tawny and white hide stood out like a sore thumb in the dark shadows of the woods. I let my body hug the trees as I moved. I had slipped away from my half brother, Berwyn, a few hours ago, and I could still faintly hear him yelling for me, from the falls. He'd told me many times to stay away from the commons, but damnit, I couldn't resist. There was some strange pull that made it to where I had to see what the fuss was all about. To be honest, it didn't look like much from the outside.
I huffed, an irritated sound escaping my mouth as I lurked in the shadow. This was no where near as fun as I had been lead to believe. Bah, this was not fun at all. My nose wrinkled as I sighed. This was BS. I stomped my foot as I snorted. Irritated didn't even begin to cover it.
Berwyn had talked about it being this crazy place that you should never go. But it seemed so...Plain, and boring. I was tired of this. I wanted excitement, passion, crazy things. This...was too vanilla, for my taste. I guess you could call me a thrill seeker. Momma had told me to shape up as I was heading down a dark path, but I didn’t believe her. I wanted to be wild, to feel like I had to watch my back at every turn, I needed the thrill. I needed more than this, though.
