Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Nothing had happened and somehow, that made him more on edge. It was nothingness, after all, that often killed. Yet Iromar and Diveen stood still and Asteraia did little more than haunt their peripherals in the north. Elohim did not believe it was better that way. No, it meant somebody was planning, scheming, moving behind the scenes. Often, he suspected his father. Morbid curiosity dictated he did such a thing - what child, he wondered, had not considered the implications of their own parent making a move against them? Normality was subjective and he had stopped trying to achieve anybody else's definition of it.

It still felt unusual to be in Glorall, however.
Mostly, he had kept returning for Ehiyeh's sake, unsure as to what moves he ought to make in order to keep her safe and well. Strange, he had to admit, to feel care for another. He had all but believed that Aster had taken it all with her when she had turned on him teeth and all. At least pack life meant finding things to keep busy with, drowning his mind in mundane tasks such as following a stranger's feet down the shore and into the heartland of the pack. Who cared about strangers? Elohim almost hoped he might encounter trouble just to break the monotomy of it all.

But it wasn't as such. The male seemed almost welcoming despite his size, something Elohim had never encountered - his family might grow tall but seldom so broad and imposing. It raised a brow but little more, Elohim's own steps silent until he deemed it the right time to announce his presence with a purposeful crunch in the sand.

"So who is your escort?" His head tilted and he had little regard for formality. "They must be important." His lip twitched into a fleeting hint of a smile but fell soon after, his face and voice almost bored. Still, he was here out of curiosity - this male had sniffed about for long enough and now, Elohim had grown curious enough to break his hiding and sulking.
