Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Orifel
Do Whatever The Hell You Want & Unpredictable as Possible!

I could tell perhaps that he wasn’t not exactly thrilled with my choice of words. Then again… he didn’t know what happened. What she used to get my brother in the position she was in. Yes, Orifel certainly understood her desire to escape from her situation, but no one ever should have to be that desperate to use children just fresh from the womb to get there. It was cowardly. He knew nothing, and Orifel wasn’t brought to rise in the slightest from his words. They had some honor in their art. She had been just downright dirty in her escape, and Pascal and Pashar were the ones to ultimately pay for it too. Though, they were far better off being raised by Celeste than her… He couldn’t imagine sweet little Pascal handling that kind of life, Pashar though… he worried about. He had been rebellious from a very young age he learned, nature versus nurture was a beast all in its own…

”You are comparing flowers to trees saying we are cowards to what she did. You have no idea what she had done to get herself out.” I say simply to his speech about how Assassins were cowardly, though my tones grow gruff at the end. ”Though… I get that last bit, doesn’t make what she did though any more horrid though.” I say rolling my shoulders cooly. I could tell he was probably trying to get a raise out of me. It wouldn’t happen, I was more collected, more in the know, of the situation to know better and he could believe whatever he wanted about assassins and my family in general. I knew the truth, and no one's words, especially not this guy’s, would sway my opinions on that matter.

The information that she was a Satanican though came easily. She bragged about it to my brother on one of their meetings before she became prisoner. Much like this wolf did. They were a proud line, proud of what they were, which I could get to some degree, even if they were horrible demons, but I could at least empathize with being proud of their lineage. ”You are a proud lot, like us, suppose it is interesting. Though anymore Angels being white and red is an oddity.” I say as I stand there looking as such. ”Its the beliefs ultimately that determine what you are.” I say but I do also find amusement in this. Granted, the here and there of the markings she apparently had, patches more so than marks, were less… cleanly arranged. Probably saying something on its own if somewhere down the line we happened to come from the same place, which was doubtful really.

I could tell by scent that his and hers lined up, he took her from me, the only way I was stabbing here. Regardless of this, I do have the information but in Iromar, if she stayed, there was no way I could touch her. Annoying… Especially given Iromar’s recent declaration of being enemies. I wondered if that was why, it felt… sudden that they would do such a thing seeing as I knew Pine to a degree. Maybe I should pay her a visit personally. Who knew? Maybe I could meet up with this friend of mine again. ”Hire? I don’t know about that. We take out the demons. You know… wolves like you who do prey on the actual innocent.” I inform him. Again he can think what he wants though. ”Well friend. This has been an enlightening and almost enjoyable talk. In a different life and if you ever stopped eating people hit me up. Otherwise guess you be on my black list and we will meet when that comes to pass and sneak in to kill you one stormy night.” I threaten though there is that edge of playing though my words were certainly serious. I give him a moment to see if he has anything to say before turning and trotting off lightly away pondering this information, pleased I got to keep the two children a secret and didn’t need to use them as a bargaining chip. For now their identities were plenty safe, no one needed to know about them further.
