It seemed to wait didn’t prove entirely fruitless and soon she took his invite and moved to join the male, where the wind blew with less force. Perhaps even losing the ability to snuff her voice or even that of her new companions out so easily. She took the risk of settling on her haunches he didn’t seem a thread at least. As he motions for her to speak she offers him a slow blink and a dip of her muzzle, a greeting she had decided seemed elegant and respectful all the same. Still, it could not be helped that she took a moment to take him in. Not in his body, but in his eyes, they seemed tired or perhaps it is something she dared assume. It wasn’t really her duty to worry about the welfare of the other so deeply, perhaps it was what Lady Zelda would prefer but Mara, however, couldn’t see how this wolf should be more than business. After all, she didn’t even know the stranger.
Her glimpse was brief but it was enough to alter her pleasantries, “I am Mara Sov of Taviora. I would reserve more pleasantries but it is best not to keep you in such weather, it is impolite. My business here is to offer an invitation from my home to yours. We host a celebration, a ball if you will humor it. Summer will come and our call along with it to tell you of the day our preparations are complete. You are welcome to join the festivities with your pack or if you prefer to stay home the invitation still extends to those who wish to come.” She couldn’t help but sigh a slight disappointment on the tip of her tongue as she stood once more. “While I would love to learn more and take time to speak with you, I shouldn’t waste your time light pelted one. Do you have any questions for myself?” Mara Sov was aware of her rushed speech after all it left a harsh taste on her tongue when she delivered it.
Waiting patiently, she decided not to mull over it anymore. She had decided it was best and adapted to her change. Maybe it wasn’t as eloquent as she would have hoped but she did her best to accommodate those she held company with. Even now she did her best to seem as polite and respectful as she could even as she thought deeply staring as one would stare into the universe and yet never truly starring at her company. Slipping into deep thought Mara Sov would only take note of his words or actions, and even his invitation to leave. The thought of who she was inviting was ever present and yet she hoped they would be respectful on neighboring territory, and yet her concerns and judgments remained. Soon her thoughts wandered back to the male before her. Who was he truly? Perhaps In time, she could learn all these things.
