She was watching him so… intently. It was an odd feeling having her stare in such a way. It was discomforting almost, like she was trying to gaze into his soul and try to see what was there. Nothing. There was nothing, and he hoped she didn’t see it. He wasn’t sure that it was visible to anyone, he was getting pretty good at faking it after all, but it didn’t mean it didn’t feel invasive to some degree. He might have paused a moment and blinked a bit just to try to break the eye contact, thankfully it seemed to have worked, she gave a soft shy smile and his smile grew once more. It seemed to him she was too young to really know any better, she seemed to get a little more comfortable around him, though it seemed to also bring about her shyness. He wasn’t complaining.
He was from far away though, but he had to figure out all these things for himself. Unlike the small girl he didn't’ really have a parent's guidance, or anyone’s to be honest. He didn’t have the loving protective source growing up. Only himself, which might have been partly why he ended up how he did. He did understand that his parents were not the norm though, that strangers, like in Boneskull’s case, proved to be better guardians than their own birth parents. Whatever the case was, Zanon was here now, and found her words… interesting though he wasn’t quite sure how to reply. Honestly? Or not. He guessed it didn’t really matter in this case.
Yeah, it’s far, almost on the opposite side on Moladion. I wanted to see more than just the moors though, but I am not really big enough to be without a pack just yet.” He admitted at first, though he would certainly try to keep himself alive no matter what, he knew that he was still small in the grand scheme of wolves walking Moladion. If someone wanted to kill him, he would die. ”They know what’s out there, and are trying to keep you safe. My parents don’t care about me or what I do. So I suppose in a way you should count your blessings. But I mean I could take you out maybe?”
He tells her then rolling his shoulders, though he could see why it could be frustrating, he never had it, that bond with parents, and it was likely he never would, not with one dead and the other… well who knows where she went. It didn’t matter, but he would carry on the conversation regardless. He wasn’t big enough to really protect her, but if she wanted to explore he could try to help and see what magic he could unfold for her. Another step in the right direction to making a ‘friend’ at least.
