The blue-gray male requested forgiveness and it didn’t exactly sit well with her. “There is nothing to forgive Zanon, and if there was to be something that needs forgiveness allow it to be mutual.” inside she wasn’t all that certain why she felt the need to offer some sense of reassurance but on the outside it was very clear she was firm on the matter as her sunlit eyes met his own. She ignored the look at her gesture really and felt little reason to question it. Maybe it was simply because she didn’t mind him and felt relatively at ease in his company. Not quite like her sister or lady Zelda but perhaps she wouldn’t have to retain the formalities forever, part of her detested the idea of always holding a sense of business with him.

She settled into his pace the grin on his face left a glint of pride with her own eyes. Why she was proud she was unsure and yet she felt it was right to be proud. Zanon began to speak and her tour had begun to take less focus on the scenery and more to his words. Mara had taken note of his aspirations and his family her gaze softened as her best offering of sympathy. Shortly he spoke and asked about her and with the mention of her age she couldn’t help but draw her features tightly before recomposing herself. “How about we start with you first; you need a teacher.” Mara had paused for a moment trying not to be too formal before pressing on; “I mean, I could always speak to Lady Zelda and Lady Pine if you would be interested in training in Taviora. I can understand your desire to seek training from someplace else, however.” Her words never wavered even as she mulled over her own words not certain if she was right to speak so boldly. He may outright object and she would owe lady Zelda but it could reinforce the ties between the two packs so could her selfish desire be that bad? Yes, possibly, but highly unlikely.

Mara Sov paused a little before speaking again as if trying to look for the right words; “I am sorry about your family. If you truly desire to put them back together you will find a way but as discouraging as this may sound, not everything that is broken can be put back together and work the same way as it once did.” Pausing once more she wanted to offer him the time to speak or respond to what she had said. Soon deciding it was best to continue on; “My parent's families hated each other. Phaedra, an Angel of Diveen and Nogitsune, a Demon of Iromar. Despite the hatred, each others family may have had for one another as fate would have it they were soul bound.” The pride she held was easily seen in her eyes and the smile that graced her features, though very small spoke how beloved they both were to the girl. “My sister and I, born of starlight and the dark. Warpaint, perhaps being my better half. I may be here in my climb to be a diplomat but she is far more social and fits in with others a little better.” Mara could hide the regret and slight disappointment in her tone but not so much in her eyes.

Glancing around she shifted slightly peering at the reeds for a moment; “I don’t lead an exciting life really. I learn, study, and try to adapt. Knowledge is power, but power is power all the same.” the tips of her teeth glittered for a moment intent on leaving him in the dark on what she meant should he not figure it out himself or investigate further. A cinnamon ear twitched to the light sloshing of water a look of interest lighting up her face but redirecting it to center on him once more; “What do you like to do to pass the time?” Mara Sov tone had grown a bit lighter and less tense but the touches of formality and restraint were always underneath the surface, never letting much excitement or anything else for that matter, arise without some sort of control and grace to it. She would have asked about the water beasts but something seemed to disapprove of the idea of putting Zanon in any danger.
