Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Arturio was glad to see a familiar face. While within the realm of Glorall he had met few, it was always good to see the ones that he knew. Nari was certainly his 'favorite' if only for the fact she was his imprint, yet seeing Azariah made him just as happy, though in a different way. His tail waved, prepared to return the nudge that fell short. "Not even surpr-" the white male began, though his words cut short by an unexpected interruption. Someone from the back. Not someone he had met either.

He could see his friend tense at Blackthorne's approach, turning his head to see the source of Azariah's ire. A low growl rumbled in his chest, even as the dark coated lady put herself between he and the other male. She was clearly quite capable of taking care of herself, but Arturio did not like what this wolf's presence did to the fun loving girl he had met several seasons ago. His emerald eyes narrowed, fangs bared. He did not utter a word just yet.

There was a small flash of confusion. He does this? So it had happened before? This just fueled what could only be anger. Then what did that make Blackthorne to Azariah? Arturio knew little of imprints and imprinting, though as drawn as he was to Nari, perhaps even could be called the warrior's 'shadow' given his presence within the pack. But on that same token, he did not constantly bother her or impede on her solitude, nor did he interrupt a conversation or meeting to which he was not invited.

"I suggest you walk away, boy," he said, intentionally moving around Azariah, put himself nearly face to face with Thorne. Azariah might not need protecting, but she definitely needed a friend to deal with this by the sound of it. "Walk, or I will make you," he said. His voice firm and unwavering. He did not know how this would make his friend feel, but it was clear that Arturio was not making an empty threat either, fangs still visible and hackles raised.
