Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Matianak had been wandering in and out of Glorall, lost to her rambling thoughts about just about everything she ever might do to end her litter mate. There were so many options. The grey coated wolf scrunched her nose slightly. Too many options. Perhaps it was time for an outsider's opinion on the matter. Her eyes lit up at the revelation. Asriel. He knew rather little of her relationship with Umbra as far as she knew, plus being her imprint, as indifferent as he might be to her, it might help sway her to one idea or another.

A smile creased her maw and she trotted along through the snow in search of her soul bound counterpart. She could feel his presence, their bond, in the back of her mind. Most days, it was easy for Matianak to ignore that connection, but she found it quite easily when she was on the hunt for him. Her pace was leisurely, not in any hurry, since he clearly wasn't going anywhere. It wasn't long before she had him locked in her sights.

No doubt he was already aware of her presence. Matianak was not attempting to hide her movements, and he likely felt her approach almost instinctively. "I see things are treating you well," she said as she drew up at his side, "No one giving you any trouble are they?" It was an innocent enough inquiry. Asriel was her imprint after all, and for someone to cause trouble for what was hers, that was simply unacceptable.
