She had met with the woman, Nymeria of Spirane, who had asked her to host this year two-year-old party in the mountains and while Mara Sov wasn’t exactly the most social wolf she was too honored to decline. She had gained a certain knowledge of these parties in her first year but it took time for her to truly understand part of their reasoning. Her soft gold limbs clambered to find a new sport even though half her heart wished to seek out the place on the banks where she had met her own imprint. Still, she settled closer to the outskirts of the mountain off of the peaks yet still hugging the river that runs against her own homes borders as well. Mara recounted the fact that she was greeted by an unkind beast last time she was here and while she was wary she couldn’t help but find some comfort in knowing she had grown since the last time she had been here, she was much larger than she had been last time at least in her own mind with much more knowledge she had acquired over the past year.

The sun was reaching its mid-morning peak, the lush but cool breeze of spring that tousled her fur as she tilted her head back and echoed her call announcing the beginning of the annual two-year-old gathering. Looking around she felt the place was peaceful enough, the bubbling of sloshing of the river bringing a sense of tranquility to the area. A little piece of her was disappointed she wouldn’t find much in way of festivity but she would still watch the others and her how they got along. She waited quietly sitting close to the bank the soft spring grass pressing against her paw pads and her sunny orbs danced across the horizon looking for any of the newcomers with a slight smile hanging on her maw, she was excited to see what new bonds and even friendships may forum and perhaps she too would find someone else she cunning that she could consider a friend.
