Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

She found herself wandering toward the borders of Diveen, somehow drawn to the free lands just on the other side. Maybe it was getting overwhelming, the sense of being home again. She was born and raised there. There were so many memories etched into every facet of the plateaus and ravines that made up its surface. And among them all, a sister she lost that she wasn't even able to meet. Paravana was taken before she was even born. She only remembered seeing the stressed looks on her parents' faces as they sent one wolf after another to search for her and all of them came up empty. All except for Emil, it would seem. She wouldn't be angry with him though. He was taking it hard on himself was it was. He told her that he should have done something, should have brought her back home. Yet something had to have made him not do it. She couldn't blame him. He was one of the few blood relatives she had left. Sure, there were plenty of her ancestry scattered through Moladian but he was her brother. She was an only child in her litter so he was the closest thing she had to a litter mate and she wasn't going to lose that.

But she was going to get justice for Paravana. She couldn't see any other way. She had skills and she planned to use them for good. Revenge for her family was on that list now. She would find out what happened in Gloral and why Emil found Paravana there, dying. She would just have to be sneaky about it. She knew she couldn't just go marching in there and demand answers. She wouldn't get anywhere like that. Though a large part of her wanted to do that exactly. No, she would bide her time. She found her paws carrying her into the thick trees of the Woodland and she sighed. She felt content here. Maybe it was the shadow of the trees that offered her solace in her time of trouble. She hadn't heard from Navarre in months. She didn't even know if he was still in Moladian, still alive. Maybe he forgot about her and ran off with his soul mate. His imprint. Maybe she didn't even exist for him anymore. Well, she wouldn't spend the rest of her life pining. If she was meant to be alone then so be it.

She made her way to a tree and sat down at the base of the trunk, letting out her breath in a long exhale as she rubbed her shoulder along the trunk to scratch an idle itch then collapsed to the ground with a flop, rolling onto her back and rubbing her spine along the rough ground. It felt nice to just relax for once.
