Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

This male looks so strange yet familiar. It is in the darkness of his fur, the oddness of his eyes, the athletic but slim build of his figure that was reminiscent of Enderly's. But I am still young and in truth, I don't really notice the details that a son shares with his father. It is all an abstract sort of thing to me that my fast-paced mind has yet to comprehend. All I know is that Loki could be anyone yet I would demand who he was anyways. My father had told me of other siblings but the way he had spoken was as if I would never see them again. That they had chosen to stay away with their mother or on their own devices. It never really occurred to me how odd it was for a male to have pups with multiple females. All I had ever known was Enderly and Nord were my fathers but Nord was my mom's mate. Enderly had never seemed LONELY to me but I wonder, now, if he might have been.

Though death had begun to temper and change my own personality, I was still vibrant and filled with a crushing passion that had no bounds. As I stand before this emotionless-looking male, I shift back and forth on my small paws, unable to stand still. Energy buzzes through me, coupled with suspicion, and I roll on the back paw pads of my feet then my toes, bouncing as I somewhat glare at him. The way he looks at me is considering and I stare boldly back, though my small heart thrums so loud I wonder how he can't hear the blood rushing through my ears. What if this wolf was crazy like my half-brother?

When he spoke, my mouth fell open, eyes flaring wide and then growing angry. "That's my dad you are talking about!" The word fuck was a bad one and I obediently did not cuss, not even away from my parents, having been scolded before when I repeated such a word boldly. My ears flip back and I give him another suspicious glare. "Who are you?" I pause then for a moment before my suspicious expression falters a bit, ears wilting out to the sides. "It doesn't matter. You can't see him. He died." Sorrow clings to my voice, unshed tears peeking in my eyes but I rapidly try to blink them away because I don't want this strange wolf to see me. "Were you his friend?"
