Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Eira was rather comfortable within the den. The brown and white girl had been dozing off, finally having some amount of relief from her itching. She was content in her spot, curled up in a ball slightly separate from everyone. Not for lack of love for or from her family, but because sometimes when she got too hot, she felt the need to itch some more. It was never an exciting feeling.

It took a moment, hearing a bit of movement, for her to blink her eyes open. She noticed in the bleariness of her half-sleep that Zion had gone out the entrance. Eira tilted her head slightly, slowly rising to follow. The girl stretched and gave a quiet yawn. Quiet was easy since mother was mute, and Badar seemed to be similar. And Eva didn't seem to hear anything anyone said. Their single brother seemed to be the only one not afflicted with anything. Not that it mattered. They were family, after all.

As she exited the den, Eira squinted her mis-matched eyes as she went in to the bright light. It took a moment for her to focus before she finally say Zion far ahead. Where was he off to? The girl followed at distance, watching him climb up the hill. She could see the effort exerted, deciding not to join him just yet. That was until, as she began to circle it that she saw someone else moving up the slope quickly towards her brother. Instinctively, the girl bared her fangs, and raced up behind her. A low growl in her throat as she addressed Ruby. "And who are you?" Her tone almost accusing as she said it.
